Do you ever feel like you're stuck in the same repeating patterns, no matter how hard you try to break free? It's as if you're holding yourself back, even when you consciously attempt to make changes. You make different choices, learn new things, or try alternative approaches, but somehow you keep facing similar situations.
Maybe you're pursuing a goal and tackle every step except the final one – you seem to hit a roadblock or just stall out. You might end up canceling plans at the last moment because you cant face that room full of people, or perhaps you've stopped dating because you keep selecting people with the same attributes. It could be that you struggle with exams, consistently scoring below your potential, or that speaking confidently in front of others feels daunting. Or maybe most days it's a challenge just to feel okay.
Through Life Coaching, we work together to uncover your desires or goal then use techniques like Meditation and Hypnotherapy to support you in easily changing these patterns. Over time, we've learned behaviors and beliefs that hold us back. They keep us circling the same issues, whether we're aware of them or not, leaving us feeling stuck or unsatisfied.
Changing these behaviors and beliefs can be tough because our brain is accustomed to following the same habitual patterns or 'train tracks', in other words, our neural patterning. It's like a train on well-worn paths controlled by our unconscious or subconscious. Altering these tracks takes time and effort. You know the saying 'it takes 30 days to create a new habit'? Truly, it is because you are changing your brain's train tracks (neural patterning). Creating new beliefs and behaviors means new paths in our brain, which requires consistent practice.
To create and sustain true change, we focus on developing new neural pathways towards your goal. I am your guide and facilitator.
Now, let's address some misconceptions about hypnotherapy:
1. This isn't stage hypnosis. This is a clinical process that promotes your well-being.
2. You retain control of yourself throughout the process.
3. You're not asleep but in a state similar to just before falling asleep, aware of your surroundings.
4. Your privacy is respected; you only share what you're comfortable with. However, sharing necessary information is vital for success.
5. I cannot alter what aligns to your individual values and beliefs. Your moral compass ensures that you only embrace what feels correct and authentic for you.
What sets this approach apart is that you define your goal, and I design a series of sessions to help you achieve it. Typically, 5-10 sessions are sufficient, varying based on the person and their goal. The changes that occur are natural and organic, making tasks that were once challenging feel effortless. You'll find yourself in new situations, accomplishing plans you couldn't before, conquering fears and anxieties, excelling in tests, and embracing life more fully – sometimes without even realizing the change has taken place.
